First, a little background on how we became new pet parents. A few years ago, when Covid suddenly took over our lives and the first lockdowns began, my husband and I joined a community of animal lovers to help feed indie dogs on the streets. And so we lost a very cute pack of puppies without their mother in the park. They were only a few weeks old and we took turns feeding them. One of them was a strong and playful puppy and one of our friends immediately named him Raju because it was his favorite name for all dogs.
Raju gets meaner and dirtier day by day and soon becomes a happy but powerful alpha. Unfortunately, a disaster befell her and apparently some savages beat her in the middle of the night when she was only six months old and broke her back. Raju the super spiritual boy was semi-paralyzed and in a lot of pain – most of the vets told us to leave him. Finally one of them agreed to the surgery and we brought him home with the hope that one day he will be able to walk and run like normal dogs. However, after two years, when he can stand and walk a bit, he is still semi-paralyzed and helpless, but he runs in a wheelchair that we have. And Raju is well-travelled who has been to beaches and jungles and now has a great vacation in the mountains. Her baby sister Eyşu is always with her and she has been staying with us for the past few months and this trip will be her first time away from home.
