The UK’s best dog-friendly beaches have been revealed, based on new data from online reviews used to discover Brits’ favorite beaches.

Another beach in Dorset, Man O’War Beach, tied for second place with a score of 8.3. Also known as East Durdle Door, this beach has a rocky beach with calm waves protected from the swells. This means it’s your turn to spray your dog.

This beach is connected to the Welsh beach of Three Cliffs Bay in Glamorgan and is the first sandy beach on our list. The beach is lined with sand dunes and many places to walk.

Following in fourth place is Pembrokeshire’s Marloes Sands with 8.2 out of 10. The golden beach, which is surrounded by spectacular cliffs, is “a great photo opportunity with your baby”, the report says.

The top five is Cuckmere Haven Beach in East Sussex with a score of 8.06. This quiet and rocky place is located near the chalk mountains of Seven Sisters.

Devon has the most dog-friendly beaches at number 22 out of a top 148 ranking.

The survey, conducted by Showers to You, analyzed Google ratings and reviewed 148 dog-free beaches to find the most popular. However, beaches without Google Maps ratings or reviews are not included in the survey. A weighted mean was calculated to obtain the total weighted score before averaging.
