Doll 10 Beauty fully covers all adoption fees in support of this lifesaving initiative as shelters struggle with an increase in surrendered and homeless animals due to the financial and personal struggles of pet owners.

This marks the fourth annual Paw Paw Adoption. 29 pets found new homes at the 2021 event.
“Our goal is to exceed the success of previous years by connecting even more animals with their forever families in 2022,” said Dalton.
In addition to all waived adoption fees, all daytime adoptions include spay and neuter, vaccinations, flea/tick treatment, microchip, free and discounted veterinary services, adoption gift bags, and of course, unconditional love.
“The Women’s Animal Center helps thousands of animals in need throughout the region each year, but receives no federal, state or local funding to do so,” said Cathy Malchems, the center’s executive director. “We rely on the generosity of our community to support our work, so having a corporate partner and animal friend like Doll 10 Beauty is truly invaluable to us and our animals.”

The partnership between Doll 10 Beauty and the Women’s Animal Center has deep meaning for both organizations, as both were founded and run by women. Doll 10’s commitment to cruel compassion for all animals is also important. Caroline Earle White, who founded the Women’s Animal Center in 1869 as America’s first animal shelter, also founded the American Anti-Vivisection Society, which is dedicated to ending the use of animals in science, education and research.
Interested adopters are encouraged to arrive early the day of the event and check the shelter’s website (womensanimalcenter.org) in advance for tips on how to prepare to streamline the selection process. Adoption applications and information about some dogs, cats and small pets are available online.

Tulsa Animal Welfare (TAW) thrives on large, highly adoptable dogs of all sizes, so an adoption program of epic proportions was necessary.
Events List — Badass Animal Rescue
OAA, TAW and Expo Square are teaming up to bring you PGAP’s all-day dog adoption event this Saturday, May 28th from 9:30am to 5pm. Expo Square in downtown Sagenet. The event will host over 35+ dogs, all fully vaccinated, altered, microchipped and de-affected. All of these puppies are PGAP Champions.
All adoption fees are waived by approved adopters and every adopted puppy goes home with a bag of free items including bedding, food, treats, toys and coupons for a free professional exam and nail trim at the vet.
While some community dogs entered city shelters with traces of the disease, the shelter’s excellent identification and rapid testing kept shelter dogs extremely healthy. All dogs brought to the event will be fully vaccinated against distemper, parvo and others and will be specifically screened by PCR and titer testing. They are all negative.

Doggies & Donuts Adoption Event Sunday May 1st!

Just down the highway, Bobby O’s Slices + Pies, 1502 E. 11th St., Tulsa, also donates 15 percent of its sales from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to the OAA.

The Adopt-A-Little Okie adoption event is held the last Saturday of each month at Tulsa Animal Welfare and the Broken Arrow Animal Shelter.
