Best Dog Friendly Glamping Ireland

Best Dog Friendly Glamping Ireland – Ireland is a country of animal lovers and is becoming a dog-friendly island with beautiful and fun places to rest your head and lay your body.

Dogs are family too, and their adventurous nature makes them the perfect companion. Our four-legged friends love to explore cities and move around, and they’ll go crazy on the golden, sandy beaches before falling asleep by the fire on the grass. With that in mind, it’s a pleasure to find beautiful resorts that offer a warm welcome to our pups.

Both properties are dog friendly and the garden is a great place for pooches. Note that most walks in this part of Ireland, including the Sheep’s Head Way and the neighboring Beara Way, do not allow dogs. So we kept Juno on her lead, and the locals said there was no problem as long as the dogs didn’t bother the local sheep.

Hire A Pod, Mobile Home, Bell Tent Or Yurt And Get To Experience The Joys Of Outdoor Living

Imagine waking up to the sound of the Atlantic Ocean lapping against the shore and making a freshly brewed cup of coffee before starting your day. Imagine jumping into the driver’s seat and driving from coast to coast along the stunning coastal roads of Northern Ireland, stopping at a small harbor or a wooded spot in the Glens of Antrim. This is why most of us dream of owning our own van, hitting the open road and exploring the wilds of the country. Wild Red makes that dream come true – if only for a few days!

Award-winning photojournalist Cathal McNaughton and his four-legged sidekick Murphy have been lovingly transformed. Red Wild is a beautiful example of a bush hand-carved by Cattle and his father, who between them brought this Mercedes Sprinter to life.

Over three days we traveled the Red Road, stopping overnight at beautiful beaches to enjoy the stars around a small fire built in the sand and waking up to the sound of the ocean before sunrise. The van has everything you need for your adventure, including a toilet, so you only need to pack a suitcase and a bed. Pick up the van from Cathal’s lovely, traditional cottage in Waterfoot, Antrim, where we treated ourselves to Swiss chard and spinach from the garden. Catal and her partner Jules are so warm and welcoming you’ll want to invite them over!

There is something romantic and adventurous about a boat ride across the Atlantic. Standing at Ranagh Pier waiting for the ferry to Clara Island is an experience as the sheep tie up the pier and complete their journey off the island. On the other side, Humphrey is waiting for you to get out to sea to take you to the lighthouse at the north end of the island.
