Our girls love snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef, in the Daintree Rainforest canopy, playing on amazing beaches, finding wild crocodiles on river cruises, and enjoying delicious ice cream from the rainforest.

Bali has become one of our favorite family travel destinations over the past few years. There’s the perfect combination of beaches and culture, and there’s always something to do, from attending a festival (as always) to visiting a water park to walking through rice paddies.
The climate is warm throughout the year, although it is like the rainy season (November to March). The food is delicious and cheap. My 10 year old favorite restaurant is Coco near Jimbaran Beach.

If you’re looking for a truly unique family vacation destination, definitely consider Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It’s a special place (a little different than anything else on this list), but it offers a lot for families!
From beaches to deserts, beautiful buildings and exciting attractions for the whole family, there are so many things to see and do in Dubai that you can easily complete several family holidays here and not get bored.
