We had a wonderful time walking our own dogs around the East and North Yorkshire coast.
All our cottages are dog friendly. Dogs are welcome in our 5 star gold holiday cottages for an extra charge of £50 per dog for extra cleaning. They’ll also enjoy their very own dog welcome bag, with treats.
Make sure the bowl is clean and free of dog hair before you go. There is a cleaning machine for you that we clean every week.
And these are what you would expect in a luxury holiday home ie no beds are allowed and sofas are only allowed if you use a throw from the basket provided or use your own throw if you have one.

We welcome well-behaved dogs (and their well-behaved owners), but for peaceful coexistence and a happy holiday for all, we ask that you follow some simple rules, and remember to bring your own. Beautiful beaches and open countryside to explore, plenty of welcoming places to stay with your dog at your convenience, and plenty of places to eat and drink.
Did someone ‘walk’? You are spoiled for choice with a wide variety of beach walks and acres to run. Take the Cleveland Way at mile 109, take a shorter route on the winding Scarborough to Whitby Road, or take a leisurely stroll through one of the coastal parks and gardens. There are seasonal restrictions on dogs on some beaches in North Yorkshire so check the rules before you go and always clean up after your dog. You can check beach restrictions on the North Yorkshire Council website or go directly to those open to dogs all year round such as Hunmanby Gap, Keton Bay, Runswick Bay and Staith.
