Salem, Massachusetts Historic, educational and fun! Salem has a fun side, but there are also many beautiful and historic places to see and things to do. Not surprisingly the history of the Salem witch trials, they celebrate Halloween the entire month of October! Salem is very close to the harbor, so it also has a rich maritime history. It’s also a dog-friendly city with plenty of dog-friendly outdoor dining options!

They call Arkansas THE STATE OF NATURE for a reason. The natural beauty throughout the state is stunning! Arkansas is also a very dog-friendly destination. Eureka Springs is located in northern Arkansas, deep in the Ozark Mountains. It is a unique small town surrounded by natural beauty.
Another beautiful small town in Arkansas is Hot Springs. It is the opposite of Eureka Springs in that it is located in southern Arkansas and the natural springs below are hot springs instead of the cold springs found further north in Eureka Springs. This small town is not only surrounded by natural beauty, but has a very interesting history – BEWARE: Gangsters and baseball figure prominently in this town’s past!
If you’re looking for a luxury vacation with your dog, check out the Hamptons, on New York’s Long Island. The beach is amazing but has many limitations. And bring your credit card, the Hamptons ain’t cheap!
Just east of the Hamptons is Montauk, Long Island New York. Montauk Beach is more dog friendly than the Hamptons. Montauk is literally the end of East Long Island, that’s why people say “Montauk. The end.” The historic Montauk Lighthouse sits atop Montauk Point and is the oldest active lighthouse in America. The lighthouse is definitely worth seeing!

If you’re a history buff, Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia – Revolutionary City is a great getaway! We were thrilled to learn that it was a dog-friendly destination. There are several dog-friendly accommodations in Revolutionary City and there are several dog-friendly outdoor places to eat. Visiting Colonial Williamsburg is like stepping back in time!
We love going to fun and interesting places with our dogs. Roswell, New Mexico definitely qualifies as one of the coolest places we’ve been! Our visit to the city most associated with UFO and alien sightings. Yes, I mean little green boy….or should I say little green girl?….just say little green creature and leave it at that. Although I have to say it was a bit too hot, we always worried about it. 🥵 The heat is unbearable and we don’t want him to get heat stroke. However, we are vigilant and take every precaution to keep him cool, well hydrated and in the shade.💦
🥙For dinner we enjoyed a delicious Greek meal at Quayside’s Mykonos. The drinks flow, the food is simple but very tasty and the atmosphere is perfect.
All in all, I recommend a short break at Sofitel Sentosa Singapore for an unforgettable pet-friendly stay, complete with a beach adventure for your fur baby!
