He said: “Of course it’s great to go on a college tour, but if you’re in Cambridge for the day with your dog, you could miss out on a fun guided walk because of your pet. Entry is not allowed. I’m a dog lover, although I don’t have one at the moment, and I saw lots of people walking around Cambridge with their dogs, but I didn’t see anyone on the tour. So I came up with a walk where dogs can happily reunite with their owners and I found some interesting stories about man’s best friend in Cambridge.
“I found some interesting facts about influential dogs in Cambridge. For example, it can be argued that Pembroke College, one of Cambridge’s most famous buildings, would never have been built if not for the dog debate. A springer spaniel, described by its owner as a mute dog, is closely related to one of Cambridge’s most unusual works of art; And a famous Italian painter, who seems to have painted more dogs than any of his contemporaries, is especially associated with the venerable structures of this city.

“This tour will be suitable for locals and tourists as the stories are not well known and I will show things that people who have lived here for years will not see. I can get five good dogs in a group and I think it would be nice and friendly to do with friends.”
